Stuff Indians Like

My search for entertaining desi sites never ends. Today I have found that one desi blog/website that has the potential to keep me up the whole night. Its one of those blogs that makes you go "Oh! Please, please, please, can I contribute to this blog??! Please!?".  I have already started to think of my own list of Stuff Indians Like.
Enjoy the blog for a while, come up with your own list, let me know in comments or email, repeat.

Quite Fast on FastCompany

You know a social networking effort is in its infancy when my blog with only two posts shows up as one of the Featured Blogs! A few weeks back I had talked about how FastCompany had jumped on the social bus, with social networking type features including a blogging engine for anyone and everyone to write. So in a fit of experimentation, I started one on there. But quite amusing to see how it made it to the "top of the charts" so to say. So take a look at the screen shot to the left of this post in case you are too lazy to follow the link - and follow the link if you are really interested in knowing what I am writing about. Leave a comment or two.

Three-column format! Screw it!

Blogger is behaving today. I liked my new three-column blog layout until the last post. The Scribd document I posted in the previous entry wouldn't fit in the middle column. Fugly! So anyways, screw the three-column layout. Also managed to change the default font to Tahoma (my favorite font), and fixed the FRENZ link on the right, added the Statcounter code back in the blog (gotta count the few who visit this blog), and now I think I am all set.

Blogging platform confusion

Even though this blog doesn't get enough traffic, I am thinking of trying out some other blogging platform. I considered Wordpress.com but not satisfied with any of the free template offerings.
I know Typepad does not offer a free hosted solution. And don't want to use Rediff or indiatimes or any of the "portal" type of blogging tools.
